Life Cycle 6, 4 September 2016
We raise funds at Nottingham to transform lives.

Story

I have worked in breast cancer research for 23 years, the past 13 of these at the University of Nottingham. Throughout this time I have devoted my research interests in understanding breast cancer to benefit the treatment of patients. Recently this disease has really hit home with several friends of my own age being diagnosed with breast cancer.

I'm therefore supporting Life Cycle 6 by jumping on a bike and cycling 50 miles to raise funding for innovative research at the University of Nottingham to detect breast cancer early, stop it spreading and to develop treatments that will help save lives.
