We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

On Saturday 28th May, the three of us will be running the Stockholm Marathon in memory of our friend Paul "Lonsdale" Whiskin.

"Lons" was a lifelong Barnet FC supporter and an integral part of our group that's been travelling the length and breadth of this country, experiencing the high's & (mostly) low's of supporting the Bees, over the last 15 years.

"Lons" sadly passed away on July 21st 2010 after a year long battle against Leukemia, aged just 45.

We had already made the decision to run the Stockholm Marathon, as Tony was emmigrating to Sweden. However, Lonsdale's death really had an impact on the three of us and we felt it only appropriate that we dedicated our run to his memory, and raise funds for his chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Any donations would be gratefully received!

Sincere thanks, from Jeff, Keith & Tony.

Lonsdaaaaaaaaaaale!
