Story

Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page

Yes, it's true. After having such a great time last year, I'm doing it all over again. Oh, the undulation!!!

Heavy metal truants is the worlds first Heavy Metal charity bike ride, from London to Donington Park, home of the Monsters Of Rock festival (can't bring myself to say 'Download'). On the 11-13 of June I will be cycling 161 miles to Donington. Travelling between 26 - 83 miles per day. I hope my butt cheeks last the distance???

I have chosen to donate all the money I raise to Nordoff Robbins. It is then being split 3 ways between Nordoff Robbins, Childline and Teenage Cancer Trust. If you don't know about them, check them out and see the great, great work they perform.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If I'm going to put myself through all the saddle sores and exploding thigh pain again, then please can you help me out and give a donation to this great charity. It's for the kids, remember!

See ya in the beer tent!!!

Steve

RCN 280960
Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
