Story
Earlier this year a close family friend Paul Warris spent his last days in St Benedict's hospice. To hear and see the wonderful care Paul got was amazing. Paul's family couldn't speak highly enough of St.
Benedict's hospice.
I have known Paul all my life. All through my life I have shared some fantastic moments and holidays with Paul and his family: all these times with him and he never ever failed to make me laugh. There were countless times he would draw me to tears with laughter. That's the thing I will remember him the most by. The witty advice he would give me and his infectious laugh will never be forgotten.
So I am running this years Great north run for the St Benedict's hospice because it will always be close to my heart and to raise as much money as possible to help with the amazing care they give to patients and their families going through the worst possible time.
Money raised will make an absolutely huge difference to the hospice, it will help to buy specialist equipment and facilities for the patients and their families to make them last couple of days/ weeks/ months a little bit more special.
Any little donation will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.
