On September 5th 2010 I will be supporting Meir Panim by abseiling downs Earls Court! 

Apparently I will enjoy panoramic views across London from the top, before abseiling 20 metres / 66 feet to the bottom. This is the equivalent to abseiling down 5 double-decker buses, one on top of the other!  I must be mad!!!

Meir Panim is the largest supplementary welfare services agency in Israel. Since 2001 they have worked to eliminate poverty among children, families and Holocaust survivors in the country. They run a network of 14 soup Kitchens, 9 after-schools youth clubs and warehouses for second-hand home appliances in Israel.  They also distribute 1,000 food shopping cards to Holocaust survivors, 5,000 daily hot meals to school children in the Negev  and run vocational training courses for the unemployed. Meir Panim's UK branch aims to raise awareness and support for the organisation's work in Israel.
