Hi my name is Sophie Campbell. I am a Professional Dancer currently working for Carnival Cruise Lines. As a passionate artist with a positive frame of mind I was delighted when the opportunity arose to be able to collaborate and spread awareness through dance.

In June 2013, I will travel to Africa as a collective of 20 dancers from the UK who will make up “Team Kili”. As a group we will be travel to Nairobi to participate in collaborative and creative dance workshops, using dance as a tool to share creative, cultural and social awareness.

We will aid the charity Movement for Hope in providing supplies to local hospitals. Movement for Hope uses Multimedia Art to raise the awareness and support for neurological conditions.

We then travel to Mount Kilimanjaro where we will trek up to the peak in aid of Giving Africa, a charity who focus on providing sustainable education through building schools in West Africa. The school we are aiding is in Gourcy, Burkina Faso. 

I hope you, my family, friends, and colleagues will join me on my journey and help give me that extra boost up the mountain. Please support us in this venture and know that your money is going to a very worthy cause.
