Story

Million Makers Challenge

The Solomons Million Makers team are supporting the national Million Makers challenge by aiming to raise £15,000 to support 12 young construction apprentices via the Prince’s TrustGet Into Construction’ programme - offering young people who may not have gained qualifications at school a local route into the industry.

As a business, we work in the Engineering and Construction projects across the UK, so we feel that being able to make a real difference to the lives of young people who need a helping hand to start their career within our sector is an extremely worthwhile cause.

Raising £15,000 is no easy challenge, and we really need your support to help us meet our targets – so we are calling on you to help in any way you can, whether through participation or by helping to generate valuable sponsorship.

If you would like to donate valuable funds in support, please click ‘donate’ – any amount will be most gratefully received! If you would like to participate in either of our sponsored walking or cycling events, please get in touch with Steve Watkinson (07867 397291) or Dominic Doig (07940 572822) to find out more. If you can spare the time we really need your help!   Thank you…
