Story
What started as a trip to do some mountainbiking in the many trail centres in Wales turned into a "Why don't we cycle up Snowdon for Charity" conversation. No-one said "that's a crazy idea" and so the idea stuck, and here we are!
We intend to make the 975m climb from Llanberis to the summit using the Llanberis path. For the return journey, we intend to take the Rangers Path, and then Telegraph Valley back to Llanberis. The return route down Rangers Path is graded as double black diamond in places!
This will only be possible with the correct weather conditions. If the conditions are not good enough, we will return another time to make the ascent.
We are asking for donations to the East Anglian Children's Hospices (EACH). EACH support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. They provide care and support wherever the family wishes – in families’ own homes, in the community or at one of their hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Quidenham.
Their care teams help children and their families with the emotional and physical challenges they face, helping them to make the most of life.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
