We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

Of all the fund-raising we have done in our many years of work for charities this is the most special. Phil was diagnosed with MND in June 2016 and  his prognosis was 18 months - two years (though with inspiration partly from the Bee Gees -see below-  he plans to do better than that).  Until research finds a way there is no cure for this terrible disease.    Please support us, and him, and all those with MND.

If you have doubts as to how special this is, and Phil is, take a look at Phil's own Justgiving page 'Stayin' Alive' at

https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/phil-rossallmnd .Our donations here (your donations) will form part of that effort. For us Phil has been the absolute rock of evidence and understanding that has made our work count.  Help the Aged, Age UK and many others in our sector have campaigned standing on his shoulders.

David and Paul have been hitherto unrecognized as the outstanding athletes they in fact are.  Their promising athletic careers were cruelly held back by laziness, apathy and a dislike of wearing shorts.  They plan to keep hydrated during a gruelling training regime with copious amounts of red wine. This strategy will undoubtedly lead them to new half marathon personal best times of under two hours (or five in Paul's case). David follows the Oxford Half with the Bognor 10k the following week and the team of  Phil's friends pushing him round the Great South Run the week after that.  Paul will be retiring to bed.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. THANK YOU SO MUCH !
