Having taken on a number of challenges raising monies for various charities over the years it has come to this!!!

It all started with a hill, then a few hills together, then a mountain, then more mountains and then the three peaks challenge……….I said that was enough!!

Then this crazy girl in the office suggested she would like to climb Kilimanjaro, initially I thought ‘Good luck with that chick off you go!’ Then I started to think…. next minute im on the bus!!

There is now 15 of us in total and it’s costing us over £2k each as the trek is completely self-funded. Personal achievement was the initial driver, however, during one of our meetings we discussed the option to raise some money for a local charity and immediately the air ambulance sprung to mind.

Living in a rural location and working in remote locations I have seen them in action many times (sometime too close). The Air Ambulance provides an amazing service and many people in this area would not be here if it wasn’t for the response of these dedicated teams. For this reason I am very proud to be raising money for them and hope you will all reward them through my dedication to this cause. Please rest assured that 100% of your money will go to the charity.
