Story
On 26th June 2010 I will start a charity cycle ride from the Rock of Gibraltar where I will travel as part of a multi-charity cycle team through Spain and France before heading back to Stowe school in Buckinghamshire. During this journey of approximatey 1500 miles I have decided to dedicate the ride to Luke Southgate who recently lost his life during operations with 2 Squadron RAF Regiment. I will carry Lukes name throughout the ride and will continue from Stowe back to RAF Honington where I will arrive on Monday 12th July after cycling approximately 1600 miles through the Pyranees mountain range in Spain in temperatues expected to reach 40 degrees. On 13th June I will initiate "Project Southgate" "Riding & Racing For Luke" to coincide with the Bury Wheel cycle ride where I will ride the 100 mile route in memory of Luke. This will mark the start of a fundraising project where I will raise money for the Royal British Legion my chosen charity. Please help me to keep Luke's memory alive!!
