We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

On the 18th of August as part of the my companies “show we care” initiative I plan to ride to work.

For most of us it is just a hop on the tube or bus for the journey to work, however I live in Newbury, Berkshire . I plan to cover the 70 mile ride in time for a normal working day in the London Technical Support Services Department, where I help ensure optimum performance of the DTC diamond sorting equipment.

In order to carry out my daily tasks as normal I will have to leave home at 3am!! Although being know as an amateur racing cyclist I really am not looking forward to riding in London . I cycled through London several years ago and swore never to ride through again. Let’s hope the congestion charge has changed things!

I am hoping to raise buckets of money for the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in conjunction with my colleagues weight loss challenge due to finish on the 25th of August.

I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me for this event to help the hospital in its outstanding work for children.

Thank you for all your support.

Rick Cutler.
