Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Chris Majid and I am mental health nurse working at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust.

I work very closely with patients with dementia and their families, and believe it is very important to raise awareness about this difficult condition that affects so many people and their loved ones.

I am raising money for the Trust's Dementia Care Appeal by having my chest, back and legs waxed for the very first time. I'll even let the most generous donator rip off the first strip of wax!

Although I am a little nervous about it, I believe my pain is worth it if it gets people talking about dementia and helping to support our cause - which is to provide better care and facilities that will enable people with dementia to have a better experience in hospital.
