Story

I'm jumping out of a plane!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A parachute jump is something I've always wanted to do, and combining it with raising money for the Christie made it even more exciting!
On 7th April 2013, I'll be doing a tandem parachute jump at Lancaster!

My sister, Heather, has been a patient at The Christie for 11 years now.
She was diagnosed with Lymphoma (cancer) on 1st May 2002.
Since then, she's had multiple types of chemo (5+), radiotherapy, targeted radiotherapy (which we raised £16,000 to pay for), a Stem Cell Transplant and 2 donor lymphocyte infusions - plus many stays in the Christie, the longest being 3 1/2 weeks for her transplant.
I donated the Stem Cells for my sister's transplant - she is also doing the parachute jump!

Please help me raise my target amount for the Christie - if it wasn't for them, my sister wouldn't be here and healthy enough to do this jump with me!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
