Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm going to be walking the Derby Memory Walk on 12th September 2009. I will be raising money for Alzheimer's research. There are two routes of 1.5 miles each and I will complete both routes at least once.

I'm doing this walk because this charity is very close to my heart. My Granddad died in 2007 after suffering with Alzheimer's for several years and one of my favourite authors, Terry Pratchett, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's in 2007. So I'm doing this in memory of my Granddad for people like Terry in the hope that the money will help find a cure or better treatment.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
