We're both running the London Marathon on 28 April 2019 in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK (PCUK).
In September, our Dad was sadly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and within 7 weeks he died. He fought an incredibly brave, courageous fight but this form of cancer is severely underfunded and incredibly hard to detect and treat.
We are devastated as a family but we are determined to fight this terrible disease for our Dad and for all the potential sufferers in the future.
We are a family of runners and fitness enthusiasts. We have both always wanted to run the London Marathon and now we have the added incentive to run this race as hard as we can and raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.
We hate cancer. We hate the effect this has had on our family and our Dad, and we hate the potential it has to affect so many others. Every penny donated will help fight this truly awful disease.
