On Saturday June 25th my 14 year old son Connor and I will be abseiling from the roof of the Vermont Hotel, Newcastle in aid of The Blue Lamp Foundation. A charity set up by PC David Rathband who was shot and almost killed trying to do his job. PC Rathband set the charity up to help other officers who are injured in the line of duty.

I have paid the fees for our participation myself. I am not seeking to recoup this money. I am asing for donations to raise funds for this excellent cause. Please give. Any amount, no matter how small, counts.
