Story
Welcome to my JustGiving page. Since you are here, you may as well leave a little money. To justify you parting with your money and a desperate attempt to prize even more money from you, let me give you a brief description of what I am doing and why you should give your hard earned money to charity.
Tomorrow I am flying to Seattle, WA to begin a 3,500 mile cycle across the USA to Boston, MA. The trip will begin as a solo effort, but my natural charm and charisma will undoubtedly attract other riders to join me. My route will take me through 15 US states, some more extensively than others, and one Canadian province. You can follow my progress, or lack of progress, at samacrossamerica.wordpress.com
In addition to the glory, my motive for doing this trip is simple; to raise money for CHAS, a hospice for terminally ill children. A description of the great work that CHAS do can be found on the right of this page. For even more information about the charity please visit their website, or contact me.
In response to certain people, I can confirm that your donations will in fact go to the charity, and will not be funding my trip. Any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated. If, like many people, you doubt that I can get the whole way across, please feel free to donate per state.
Thank you all, you are the wind at my back.
Sam
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
