UPDATE ON THE SWIM

Well I did it!  I successful completed my sponsored swim in the Serpentine Lake at Hyde Park for Cancer Research.

It was a lovely sunny morning when, in a wet suit with 15 other people in the first group, I entered into the murky water.  I managed to swim the course in 20 minutes which I was really pleased with, especially given the very elastic properties of my wet suit which seemed to want to prevent my arms from moving and the very friendly swans!

I'm planning to do some more sponsored swims in the future so you've been warned!
