Story
One cold January Sunday afternoon, I came up with the daft idea that I needed more stamina and would start running. I've never been a runner only a gymnast and netball player and after a car accident in June 2013 was sure my running days were well and truly over. But after having that daft idea I decided to be even more daft and go for it, so my 5k training started on a cold February Saturday morning. I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life on Sunday 26th July and raising money for this as well as East of England Ambulance Services Community First Responders.
Please choose which you would prefer to donate to or better still split your donation between each cause.Me being me of course thought I wouldn't just do the normal 5k race but put myself through the embarrassment of doing the "Pretty Muddy" challenge involving as much mud as possible along with a 5k run.
If I'm going to make a fool of myself then I want to raise as much money as possible.
If you want to come along and support me on the day by cheering me along, laughing at me or hosing me down afterwards then it would be great to see you.
