I am fundraising for food parcels and iftars for Palestinians.

This Ramadan, the humanitarian crisis in Palestine will be ongoing, and the people in Palestine are in  huge need of aid. Whilst we sit in our homes with guaranteed food for iftar, the people in Palestine will be facing uncertainty.

Some startling facts:

• 38% of Gazans live in poverty.
• The average wage declined by over 20% in the past 6 years.
• 54% of Gazans are food insecure and 75% are aid recipients.
• 35% of Gaza's farmland and 85% of its fishing waters are totally or partially inaccessible due to Israeli military measures.
• Over 90% of the water from the Gaza aquifer is undrinkable.
