We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I have decided to take up the Wobbleberry challenge and compete in a British Eventing 80 competition ( to the non horsey amongst you this means dressage, show jumping and cross country in one day) next autumn. The challenge is aimed at wimpy middle aged riders and will involve a lot of commitment to learn new skills as well as conquering nerves to jump solid xc jumps at speed amongst other things!

The motivation behind this is to raise money for the Willbury Wonder Charity which has been set up in memory of teenage event rider,  Hannah Francis, who sadly lost her life to cancer this August. Her story is really inspirational and can be read here ..... http://www.willberrywonderpony.org.

The charity is raising funds for vital research into bone cancer as well as granting equine related wishes to seriously ill people.

Thank you for any support you are able to give in helping me raise funds for this amazing charity, it will be hugely appreciated.

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
