Wobbleberry Challenge · 5 October 2016
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and a big thank you to everyone who's already given money to this wonderful cause 😁
This challenge is specifically aimed at middle-aged, wimpy horse riders who should compete in a British Eventing BE80 competition by Autumn 2017. All to raise money for the wonderful Willberry Wonder Pony - inspired by Hannah Francis, a young event rider who died from a rare bone cancer in August 2016.
Several friends suggested I should enter this challenge, as I meet the Wobbleberry criteria (100%) by being (1) not currently fit enough to get round a cross country course. (2) not currently brave enough to get round a cross country course. (3) old enough to know better, and know that this will hurt! and (4) dedicated - to raising money, to training, and conquering the fear and supporting other Wobbleberries doing the same challenge.
So that's it! Now I just have to get a grip on my fears, get on Mr Spotz, and train and compete and most of all raise lots of lovely money for this fantastic cause.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
If you're on Facebook enter @Spotonmrspotz in the search box and you should find our blog page 😁👍 We have been training hard and are hopefully almost ready to compete at our chosen event British Eventing's Little Downham 3 at the end of September this year.
We have learnt a lot, made some fantastic. New friends, done stuff we didn't think we were capable of and all because of Hannah and her Willberry Wonder Pony.
