Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On January 25th,  Sara and Alan will be dusting off their bicycle repair kits, shining up their Lycra, injecting extra gel into their saddles and setting off for a gruelling 100 mile cycle ride in Cambodia in aid of three wonderful charities, Childline, Nordoff Robbins and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Our target is to try and raise £7,500 from family, friends and business supporters. Sara and I will personally match the amounts we raise from you, so the more you donate, the more we donate ....that way we could reach an amazing £15,000 !!  Of course, we will also personally pay all travelling and accommodation costs, so that all monies raised will go directly to the charities.

We know that you all receive lots of these requests but charities are really struggling in the current climate and we know that these 3 special charities really make a difference to young peoples' lives.

On behalf of both of us and 3 great charities, many thanks for your support and generosity.

Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
