Last year my Dad was diagnosed with cancer of the throat and neck. He has received treatment and is on the road to recovery, but it was a very tough time for myself and my family. Macmillan helped my family through the process and provided support which was invaluable. I decided to run in this 10k to show my thanks for their efforts and raise some money for them, because without them this difficult time would have been much harder to get through.
