The Wirral Squirrels Skidive, 29 June 2012

Story

Myself, fellow students (and some staff we've persauded) are going to skydive from 10,000 feet, free falling a terrifiying 5,000 feet in just 20-30 seconds and then gliding like flying squirrels the rest of the way.

Anything for a good cause, right?

As a group we chose North West Cancer Research Fund as our main charity because everybody on the team knows someone affected by cancer. NWCRF are a local charity raising funds for regional universities to research the causes and effects of cancer, 90p of every £1 goes to directly to research.

Big thanks to UCFB for sponsoring our team hoodies, they're going to keep us warm!
