First of all thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A bit about me
I'm 31 and my riding experience has been very hit and miss, iv done the odd pleasure ride went to a couple of shows and had some lessons but it never really lasted due to financial reasons and after a couple of bad falls my confidence was pretty low so I would make excuses not to ride.
As well as lacking confidence and skill just to make things even more difficult, I seriously need to lose a few stone and pick my fitness up massively, as its not just the horse who has to do all the work.
My horse
My dream lad is Murray a 6 year old 16,2 Irish draught who I have had a couple of months, he's a fantastic lad and we are having flat lessons, we are both pretty slow and steady at the minute which totally suits me
A few weeks ago I came across a Facebook post about a challenge for middle age wimpy riders called the wobbleberries challenge aiming to complete a British eventing course in Autumn 2017, so that's showjumping, a dressage test and a cross country (galloping across country jumping big logs and going through water) in aid of the fantastic charity Willberry wonder pony set up by the inspirational late Hannah Francis, I had followed Hannah's story and for someone of such a young age she was incredibly courageous, she achieved so much in her short 17 years of life.
So I'm asking to please donate as little or as lot as you can, all monies go straight to Willberry wonder pony charity towards researching bone cancer to help seriously ill people. It would mean so much to me to back such an amazing cause, as well as it being such a personal challenge for me
Thank you for taking the time to read my story xx
