The Prince's Trust offers a wide range of programmes designed to encourage and empower young people (between 13-30 year's old) who has struggle in live to turn their lives around mainly by offering work opportunities.
To support them, myself and 19 other colleagues will be partaking in the THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE which consists of scaling the 3 highest mountains in Britain in just 24 hours!
Fair to say the most i have walked in recent years is probably to the shops and back, even then ill probably get my mum to pick me up.
6am – 11 am: Ben Nevis, Fort William, Scotland 1343 metres (basecamp at 50 metres) - Total climb of 1293 metres
5pm – 9pm Scafell Pike, Lake District, England - 977 metres
(basecamp at 70 metres) - Total climb of 907 metres
2am – 6am Snowdon, Snowdonia National Park, Wales - 1085 metres (basecamp at 60 metres) - Total climb of 1025 metres
Total distance: +/- 44Km
During the 24 hours the team will be hiking 3,000 meters in poor weather conditions without much food or sleep.
