Story

Family, friends, one and all.

Thanks for taking 2 minutes to donate a few pounds to a small charity i hold very dear.  I cannot speak highly enough of the hospice that gave such a fantastic level of care to my Grandma when she was very painfully losing the battle with bowel cancer three years ago.

I've been pushing myself very hard over the past few weeks as not only do i want to finish the marathon, i want to achieve an impressive time.  I sorted my place pretty late so have only been training properly for the last month, with another month till the big day (maybe not the best idea for a first marathon!).  I'll put my money where my mouth is and give £25 of my own money for every 5 minutes i'm over 3hr30.

Please be as generous as you can.  These guys have to raise £2.5m per year just to survive and i don't know where families like my own would be without the amazing care and support they provide.  All your pounds are massively appreciated by both myself and Pendleside Hospice.  (Children in need style plea over).

Good karma to all for your fantastic generosity.
