We are taking part in this event in honour of our son Marcus who has Cardio-Facio-Cutaneous Syndrome which causes congenital heart defects and  cardiomyopathy.  Marcus will hopefully also complete the one mile, Chase the Pud event, with our support.  This will be a huge challenge for Marcus who has mobility and co-ordination difficulties.  Marcus is my hero and his determination, tenacity and good-humour inspires me daily.
