Story
On the 28th June 2006 I fractured a vertebra in a horse riding accident. My recovery was aided by The Firefighters Charity therapy centre, Jubilee House and their staff. A year to the day later I was able to climb Snowdon to raise money for the charity to show my appreciation.
Now, 7 years on, fully recovered and fighting fit, I have decided to set myself another challenge to raise money for the charity.
Starting on the 28th June 2013 at 0900hrs one day a week for a full year I will be walking up and down The Wrekin in Shropshire wearing full fire kit and a breathing aparatus set.
That's a total of 52 walks up and down, a distance of 85,280 feet
