As many of you know last year on my birthday mum was taken ill - two weeks later she was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and two months later she died.  Brainstrust gave us information with compassion and clarity as soon as mum was diagnosed and knew nothing about what to expect and gave us support and understanding in the short time it took for things to progress. Without their immediate information we would have spent days we didn't have looking for information and because of their practical advice we were able to make sure that mum was able to make her own choices about how to manage the illness and in fact her death. Help from Brainstrust is available to anyone affected by this disease over the phone and they give practical, caring advice meaning patients and their families can make their own decisions.  Last year - 3 weeks after mum's death and on her 21st my daughter Kristis did a sponsored sky dive for Brainstrust in memory of her Nana alongside her sister Tia - this year I'm going to shut up for 3 days over the Mother's Day weekend - if you think I can't do it sponsor me, if you think I can do it sponsor me and if you just want to help a good cause please please sponsor me!!!!
