We train rural health workers to provide emergency dental care

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

29.10 - 4 days until we leave. Training progress below and thanks for your support. Despite family illness the best wishes have kept me pedalling.

Ok so earlier this week I cycled my most ever, 104 miles in two days  I won't bore you with the side effects but certain parts were quite sore!

Today, 10 Oct 20 miles and having got absolutely soaked through, cycled through 5 floods and down a steep hill that was a stream not a road, I am very definitely still in training. Hence the drowned rat picture!

I am in training for this amazing challenge for this amazing charity. Every donation will make a difference in helping train clinical officers in rural Tanzania so that they can help people out of dental pain. Often people have been in pain for not hours, days or even months but years! In fact if I with all of your amazing support raise £3000 that will pay for the training of a medical worker who can then provide emergency dental care to the 10,000 people they cover

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
