We use sport to empower young people to be confident, healthy, and happy.

Story

Scottish Sports Futures (SSF)  is a Glasgow-based charity which delivers “Education through Sport” programmes to disadvantaged young people across Scotland.

Scottish Sports Futures targets those young people most at risk where and when they are most at risk, focusing on neighbourhoods which suffer from acute youth disorder and anti-social behaviour. Initiatives are designed to encourage integration, self-efficacy, healthy lifestyles and good citizenship. These issues are tackled in a relaxed and informal environment.

Rohanna, Kirsty, Emma and Euan all work for SSF and have been training really hard for the race and would really appreciate any support you can provide!  All money raised will go towards improving the lives of disadvantaged children across Scotland.

About the charity

Our vision is a world where young people have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. We use sport as a catalyst to enable young people to be healthier, more confident and more resilient, so they are better prepared to combat the effects of poverty, trauma and adversity.
