SCORE4africa, a social enterprise wholly owned by AFFORD, celebrates the contributions football makes to African development. African footballers make remittances, investments,  support peace work and financially support  their extended families & communities. Football also helps develop civil society and social cohesion.

The 2nd SCORE4africa award ceremony & fundraising black-tie event dinner will take place at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel on November 30th 2009. 

Winners at the inaugural Score4africa awards in 2008 include Didier Drogba, Nwankwo Kanu, George Weah, Craig Bellamy, Arsene Wenger, Chelsea Football Club, and NGO initiatives Mathare Youth Sport, Alive & Kicking, Football Unites, Racism Divides and Right to Play.

70 percent of the surplus raised from SCORE4africa, will go directly to AFFORD's work supporting Small and Medium sized businesses in Africa.  30 percent will support other Football Business Support Initiatives.
