Our three year son Ryan was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in August of this year and is currently in Yorkhill Children’s Hospital in Glasgow.  We have been told that he will need a bone marrow transplant to save his life and so the search is on to find him a matching donor on the Anthony Nolan Register as neither of his brothers are a match.  We have been completely overwhelmed by the support of not only family and friends, but complete strangers who are desperate to help Ryan and the many thousands of people who also require a transplant.  Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer but it costs the charity £100 to recruit just one person onto the Register.  So many people have said that they would love to help but for whatever reason they cannot join the Register – we have now set up this page and text giving to give you the opportunity to donate however much you can – no amount is too small.  Thank you so much – donating through Justgiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with Justigiving, they will never sell them or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate they will send the money direct to Anthony Nolan and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
