On Sunday 24th October I will be taking part in the Great South Run to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer.  This is a subject that means a lot to me and my family. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all types of cancer, mainly because the pancreas is hidden deep in our body. This, together with the fact that early symptoms are similar to many common digestive complaints, mean that diagnosis comes too late for most sufferers.
