Those of you who know me will know why I have set up this fundraising page. I have had M.E. for 10years now prior to which I raised a family, worked, travelled, socialised and was active in charitable organisations that were close to my heart. Now I find myself on the other end of the spectrum relying on a befriending service and support workers to help with my everyday needs - indeed these wonderful people do everything they can to make my life, as it is now more manageable . . . And what of my life now? well to say it was turned on its head a decade ago is an understatement, so over the years I've created another life for myself a very, very much more sedatary one due to being mostly housebound or in bed on Planet Duvet, but always vowing that The Bully M.E. is not going to take full command! Having a chronic illness has not robbed me of my feisty nature or humour. . . My Greatest Wish is that eventually there is a diagnostic test for this illness instead of the long process of elimination of other like illnesses and perhaps eventually a Cure, and this is where you come in by donating even just a £1 to My Page here jointly owned with Hamish and Hector who sleep wherever and whenever the mood takes them! . . .
