We are running for the Smile with Shiv campaign for Muscular Dystrophy UK because we want to help Shiv. Join us!

Shiv is our always smiling, fun-loving 5 year old nephew/cousin.

Shiv was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy 2 years ago at the age of 3.

Duchenne is a 100% fatal muscle wasting condition, children are in a wheelchair by the age of 12, start to lose the ability to use their upper body by 16 followed by lung and heart weakness which eventually leads to a premature death. Life expectancy for these children is only mid 20's. 

Your donations will fund essential research, clinical trials and help ensure that potential drugs are brought to market as soon as possible for those like Shiv who live with this horrific condition.

Team Run4Shiv will be completing the Superhero run covering a distance of 5Km or 10Km. 

Our 10 team members are; Sandeep Karia, Rupa Sodha, Saavan Thakrar (10km), Neera Thakrar (10km), Suraj Thakrar (10Km), Rishi Karia, Ricky Karia, Sonal Thakarshi, Anand Karia & Hiten Patel.
