Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are a group of postgraduate students at the University of Oxford participating in WaterAid's Mountain Challenge to raise money for the restoration of Nepal after the deadly earthquake last month. We will be hiking England's highest sea cliff, The Great Hangman, on the 6th of June 2015 (22 km hike). The money raised will specifically go to projects that ensure the poor in Nepal receive access to clean and sufficient water and adequate sanitation during this time of restoration.
In addition, this hike will be in honour of a professor at our department, Professor Mike Edmunds, that recently and unexpectedly passed away. He had done work all over the world pertaining to water issues.
Please join me in rejecting apathy and helping our fellow human beings in restarting their lives. Donations can be made until the 5th of July 2015. Our group has already raised approximately £1500, but would like to reach £2000. Any donation will be greatly appreciated!
