As you all know my wonderful mother died in February of this year. She had faced many challenges through her life, constantly faced with the battles of her auto immune diseases. She was strong, courageous, brave and incredibly disciplined, very rarely moaned or felt sorry for herself but when she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis her suffering was almost unbearable. Due to this wonderful charity she was able to gain access to humira a medication that gave her the quality of life that made her fight worthwhile. For 7 years it allowed her to be the most fantastic grandma (Ma as the children affectionately called her), she was able to share her amazing knowledge and love with them and although we lost her prematurely she has shaped their lives forever and had a huge influence on who they will become.

I hope by taking part in this challenge not only will I make my mummy proud but I can help raise money to help other people benefit from the treatments that arthritis research uk help develop and make available to arthritis sufferers.
