Firstly, thank you so much for visiting my donation page! 

I am fundraising for Project Riandu. This project aims to build a secondary school for over 200 deaf children in the town of Riandu, Kenya. The promise of this project is to enable hundreds of deaf children in the area to access secondary school education. There are currently only 4 providers of secondary education for the 700,000 deaf children currently in Kenya. The disadvantaging stigma attached to those with disabilities in Kenya is substantially more common than it is in the UK. We aim to help tackle this deficit, by changing perceptions and providing more children with their right to an education. 

We are working with The Peter Cowley Africa Trust to help make this happen. The charity has been doing brilliant work, building strong relations with communities around Nairobi.

It is a student lead project so we need as much help as we can get! Please donate generously; all proceeds go directly to materials and services for the building of the school. 

I have taken on the role as Media Director for the project and will be making a documentary of our trip whilst out in Kenya. I am late... yes! But hopefully not too late! With as much help as possible and a lot of hard work over the next couple weeks I still believe the target can be reached!
