I'm running this half marathon to raise awareness and promote the wonderful website that my Godmother has created - www.cansurviving.com. Cansurviving came to life after my Godmother had a breast cancer diagnosis in February 2012 and decided to collect research and information on alternative recovery methods to help people in similar situations.  

As Cansurviving is not a charity, we have selected CANCERactive as the charity that will receive the sponsorship raised for this run. CANCERactive also provides information, not just on orthodox therapies but on complementary and new and “alternative therapies”.
