Thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page.  Please take a couple of minutes to read about what I’m doing and why I hope you’ll support me.

I have signed up for the H2H charity cycle which will take place in April 2013.  For 4 full weeks, 19 other volunteers and I will cycle 2000km from Hanoi (North Vietnam) to Ho Chi Minh City (South Vietnam) to raise money for Vietnamese children’s charities.

The H2H cycle has become a famous annual event in Vietnam since it was started back in 2008 with the sole mission of alleviating poverty in the lives of the country's poorest children and youth.  Recent findings have suggested that 37% of all children in Vietnam live in poverty and so H2H raises both awareness of the hardships that young people face here and vital funds for those most in need. The 2012 ride raised an incredible $50,000 and with your support (and a bit of luck) my team and I aim to surpass that.

It is worth mentioning that all costs and expenses are covered by us, the riders, so you can rest assured that every penny you donate will go directly to Vietnam’s poorest children.  The projects we support are developed effectively and sustainably in response to the needs and requests of communities here, thus enabling them to manage their own development.
