Story

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm not going on a bike ride or shaving my head, not bungee jumping or bailing out of a plane, not running up mountains, or cycling the "end to end", not dancing naked, or singing on the street.

Instead I am going to learn something new, which I hope will help others. Not just people with Ulcerative Colitis either.

I am going train to be a hypnotherapist, because I found it very useful on my journey through the medical procedures I encountered on my joureny with Ulcerative Colitis. I found that it gave me tools that I could use to retain my sense of self; and it helped me understand my situation and view it from the point of view of the doctors that dealt with me.

I have signed up on a course which starts in September, and will finish in March 2011. I will tell you all about it as it happens.

So; a new journey, and one that I hope will make a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

THANK YOU!
