As there are so many large charities out there that are well catered for and recieve universal support, I have made a decision to support a smaller local charity. I have chosen Grove Cottage because they are an important part of the community that helps so many families. Your support really will make a difference to this charity, they can't survive without it.   

Grove Cottage are the home of Mencap in Bishop's Stortford and they provide social and educational activities for people of all ages with learning disability: to develop their potential, avoid social isolation by supporting lifelong friendships and to provide respite for their families. They run clubs giving support and help to eveyone from 3 months to 70+ years. Although they are a local Mencap - they receive no financial support from them. It costs over £140,000 per year to run Grove Cottage and they could not exist without financial support from the local community and fundraising.
