I am embarking on a cycle ride for Challenge Cancer UK. The cycle ride is Saigon, Vietnam to Angkor Wat Cambodia. The cycling route covers 450 kms in 6 days over a 7 day period. The Challenge will be both the heat and humidity with temperatures in the high to mid 30's along with a challenging cycle route which will be at times be technically demanding when cycling on narrow pathways and on unmade cross country tracks. I will be part of a 18 strong team aiming to raise a minimum of £3,000 each to our target of £55K for Challenge Cancer UK.

Unfortunately the awful disease that is Cancer affects far too many people and families and if we can do our 'bit' by raising as much money during 2017 to help fund Research, Medical Treatment and Care then our team can be proud of our achievements. The fund raising and the cycling will be a challenge for us all but together as a team with support network of our families, colleagues and friends we can smash it!
