Robert's London Marathon

London Marathon · 24 January 2016
On 24 April I'm running the London Marathon on behalf of an incredible charity called The Sick Children's Trust. SCT provide home-from-home accommodation for families so they can stay close to their seriously ill child in hospital. It costs SCT £28 to put a family up for one night and my firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges is aiming to raise £100,000 over the next two years which will provide 3,571 nights of accommodation for families.
This will be the second time I've ran London and my 5th marathon in total but they don't get any easier (just harder!) The long runs on a Sunday morning and the (very) early mornings during the week in the cold, dark and bleak British winter aren't easy but are enjoyable in a weird way. I appreciate many of you have sponsored me on a number of occasions in the past but any help would be hugely appreciated.
To help me hit my fundraising target I am also throwing into the mix: the Hertfordshire Triathlon in August, Etape de Amwell (150km cycle) and Eton Dorney 5k Swim both in September (the same weekend!).
Any help would be hugely appreciated - thank you!
