Story
I plan to cycle 300 miles from London to Paris over four days at the end of May 2013.
Why?
I am trying to raise money for a charity that has built a school providing secondary education to 160 boys and girls from nomadic families in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya, one of the most remote and neglected areas of the world. Education will transform the lives of these children.. The school is called Kisima and is fantastic!
Kisima is now in its ninth year and its success has been impressive - it currently ranks 27th among all the secondary schools in Kenya. Kisima is funded by The Educational Frontier Trust (TEFT), a small charity run by volunteers which ensures that all money donated goes directly to the school. Kisima could not survive without the money raised by TEFT, so please sponsor us now - it will make the long slog far easier when we know that others share our vision.
Please sponsor me now and help make a difference to the children who attend the school. £10 will buy a desk and £20 will supply the school with a weeks firewood.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Educational Frontier Trust gets your money faster because once you donate they send your money direct to the charity. And, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
I'm training regularly for the 70-90 miles/day challenge, so please motivate me to continue and sponsor me now ...!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
