Story

Some of you may have heard a rumour that I am donning the lycra and cycling through Vietnam and Cambodia as part of a team supporting 'Action Duchenne'. This is a charity that aims to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a severe genetic muscle wasting disease.

I can now confirm the rumour is true.

Now for any of you who think this might be a bit of a jolly.. well not for me. I was shocked to learn that people actually cycle for fun. I thought it was for kids and people who couldn't afford cars.

So an appeal to all my friends. If you can spare a few pennies no matter how big or small it will be very much appreciated. I know that many of my colleagues at Thomson have already donated so please disregard this and thank you for your support.

You will see below the link to 'Thomson Airways Friends of Toby' which tells you a lot more about what this is about and who the team are.

Thanks folks
